One of my favorite trumpeters today is...: (no, not Hargrove) James Morrisson. Besides a great trumpeter he's also a wiz on the trombone (one of the few trombone-players I really like). This solo is just perfect. The build-up is fantastic, helped by a dream-team rhythm-section: the Ray Brown Trio (Ray Brown, Benny Green, Jeff Hamilton). The solo is taken from the CD: "Two the Max".
